How to use the Straightforward Future

1: We use the long run simple with 'will' to foretell the long run. It's the basic way we speak about the future in English, pens.ac.id and we frequently use it if there is no such thing as a reason to make use of one other future tense. We can use it for future details and for things which might be less certain.


- The sun will rise at 7am.
- I feel the Conservatives will win the next election.


- I am going to provide help to together with your homework.
- Will you give me a hand?
- I won't go!


- A: I'm cold. B: I'll shut the window.


- If it would not rain, we'll go to the park.
- Let's arrive early. That may give us time to relax.


- Shall I open the window? (= Do you want me to open the window?)
- The place shall we go tonight? (= What's your opinion?)


- A: We've run out of milk. B: I know, I'm going to buy some.


- Look at those boys taking part in soccer! They're going to interrupt the window.
- The sky is getting darker and darker. It's going to rain.
